Bicyclist Injured in Car Accident on Commerce Street in Harlingen, TX

Harlingen, TX -- April 24, 2022, one person sustained injuries after an accident where a vehicle struck a bicyclist along Commerce Street.

Investigators reported that the crash took place while a man was riding a bicycle on Commerce Street. It's unclear where exactly the cyclist was in relation to the roadway. Due to the collision, the cyclist was taken to an area hospital. Additional details are unavailable at this time.

One thing to consider is that some folks have a lot of bias against bicyclists, assuming they're all just flouting the rules.
