Motorcycle, Truck Accident I-135 77th street Wichita, KS

There isn't much information about what happened here, and it's not even entirely clear if there was a semi-truck involved in this collision. Maybe authorities are just being vague until they have more information. Whether or not they can get that information, though, is where my concerns usually lie. This isn't to insult any officers, but the reality is there is a lot of bias against motorcyclists. Without the right experience and tools, it's all too easy for folks to just assume that a motorcyclist was being reckless. Even if that happened here, it should be the evidence telling that story. If this is like a lot of the motorcycle wrecks folks have come to me for help with, there may need to be more thorough independent investigations to ensure the facts are clear.
