Commentary on Car Accident on Spooner Street in Pasadena

There isn't much clear confirmation on what happened here. It's important to take seriously the things authorities bring up while also understanding that they don't always have the full picture.

Early morning wrecks like this, for example, often bring up the possibility of alcohol. That's important to look into for many reasons. It's obviously a seriously dangerous thing for someone to drive drunk, but it can also involve a law-breaking business if the crash was the result of a local bar over-serving the victim. That's even more improtant to consider with the possibility of a business selling to someone who is underage.

Beyond that, however, folks can't just overlook other possible factors just because they seem unlikely. Were there mechanical issues? road hazards? A medical condition? Was the parked vehicle not clearly visible and parked in a dangerous spot? One way or another, getting folks the help they need means ensuring they have the facts. It's not yet clear if steps were taken to get all the facts here.
