There isn't really much information about what happened here, which isn't exactly unusual this soon after a commercial truck wreck. They can be incredibly complex, and making sure all possible factors get attention can sometimes take more experience and equipment than a particular department has available to them. Especially in more rural areas like this, serious commercial truck wrecks aren't quite as common, so the department may not prioritize accident investigation. For folks in need of assistance, having as much evidence as possible is crucial, which is why it's usually best to take steps to ensure experienced independent investigators look into things and ensure nothing important slips through the cracks.
