Commentary on Flatbed Truck Accident on East Ojai Avenue in Ventura County

This soon after a serious commercial truck wreck, it's not entirely unusual for there not to be clear facts available. The key, however, is making sure that authorities are actually taking the steps necessary to get answers for the victims and families. To be a bit blunt, authorities don't always have what it takes to look into a complex commercial truck wreck. This isn't to say the officers themselves can't do their jobs. On the contrary, they're usually the ones hampered by their departments not giving the time or the equipment they need to do the job properly. That's one of the reasons independent accident reconstructionists have always been a vital tool I've used throughout my career. Getting folks the answers and therefore the help they need means ensuring nothing important slips through the cracks. Whether or not those steps are being taken here remains to be seen.
