Two Injured in Truck Accident on Bulverde Road in San Antonio, TX

San Antonio, TX -- February 22, 2022, two people sustained injuries following an accident where a truck crashed into their vehicle on Bulverde.

Investigators reported that the crash took place at around 4:12 p.m. along Bulverde Road near Chimney Springs.

Officials said that two people were in a Ford F-250 traveling southbound on Bulverde. While slowing to make a turn, a truck reportedly following too closely crashed into the truck, pushing it off-road.

Due to the crash, a passenger in the pickup had non-incapacitating injuries while the driver was possibly injured. Additional details about the crash are unavailable.

For example, I handled a situation not long ago with very similar details. A car slowed to make a turn, and truck rear-ended it. While police reports didn't clear up much, our investigations dug up surveillance footage from a nearby business which clearly showed the car come to a controlled stop for about six full seconds with its blinker clearly on. The truck driver simply wasn't paying attention, and by the time the hit the brakes, it was too late. Only after our efforts did the trucking company finally cooperate with he victims. Maybe the evidence surrounding this crash will be a bit more obvious, but it's best to safe when it comes to getting people the help they need.
