Brayan Horacio Garcia Killed, Armando Contreras Injured in Car Accident in Odessa, TX

Odessa, TX -- March 13, 2022, Brayan Horacio Garcia was killed and Armando Contreras was injured due to an accident where their vehicles collided.

Investigators reported that the crash took place at around 5:50 a.m. along Business 20/Highway 80 at the Faudree Road intersection.

Authorities said that 22-year-old Brayan Horacio Garcia was in a Toyota Corolla traveling eastbound along the highway. Ahead, a pickup driven by 32-year-old Armando Contreras stopped at a red light. Garcia's Toyota then crashed into the back of the pickup.

Due to the crash, Garcia reportedly sustained fatal injuries. Contreras was said to be possibly injured. Authorities said they believe that Garcia was under the influence of alcohol at the time, but this cannot currently be confirmed.
