Man Injured in Truck Accident on Adams Avenue in Temple, TX

Temple, TX -- February 24, 2022, one person was injured due to an accident where a semi-truck and other vehicles crashed on Adams Avenue.

Authorities said that the incident took place at around 11:00 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 53/Adams Avenue and 19th Street.

In their preliminary reports, officials said that a Mitsubishi may have lost control due to ice, following which a semi-truck also came upon the ice. Those two vehicles collided, and the Mitsubishi swerved into a Chevy Suburban.

Due to the collision, the Chevy driver reportedly had non-incapacitating injuries. No other injuries were reported. Right now, additional details about the accident are unavailable.

Now, that could mean that both drivers who lost control were doing something wrong, or perhaps the first vehicle losing control made the situation unavoidable for the second. It's even possible the first vehicle lost control for reasons they couldn't avoid, either. Ultimately, however, it's going to be up to the evidence to say how all of this could have been avoided.
