Commentary on Truck Accident on Adams Avenue in Temple
Generally speaking, it's not ice that causes serious wrecks like this. It's usually the result of drivers not adjusting their behavior properly. Now, that could mean that both drivers who lost control were doing something wrong, or perhaps the first vehicle losing control made the situation unavoidable for the second. It's even possible the first vehicle lost control for reasons they couldn't avoid, either. Ultimately, however, it's going to be up to the evidence to say how all of this could have been avoided. A commercial vehicle wreck is complex enough, but one involving multiple vehicles would only make things more challenging. It remains to be seen if the right professionals handled these details to make sure that nothing important slipped through the cracks.
