Cinnamon Kittrell Injured in Car Accident on I-45 in Conroe, TX

Conroe, TX -- January 12, 2022, 18-year-old Cinnamon Kittrell was seriously injured in a collision with a commercial truck on Interstate 45 in Conroe.

Authorities say the incident happened around 9:35 p.m. on I-45 near League Line Road. Preliminary investigation suggests Kittrell was driving a Toyota Corolla south on the 4000 block of the highway at alleged high speeds. Reports say she attempted to cross in front of an International tractor-trailer but misjudged and crashed into the road's left concrete barrier. The car spun out and entered the truck's path, then was hit on its rear left panel by the truck's front-left quarter.

Kittrell suffered serious injuries in the crash. A 19-year-old passenger in the Corolla received minor injuries. The truck driver was unhurt.
