Commentary on Cement Truck Accident on I-8 in San Diego
There's not much information available here yet, but that's not entirely unusual after a commercial truck wreck. They can be pretty chaotic, and if investigators don't have the time, tools, or training to handle the complex factors surrounding these accidents, important details can easily slip through the cracks. That's one of the reasons I so frequently remind people of the importance of independent investigations. Where authorities have many different responsibilities, there are professionals who can dedicate their time and resources to getting clear answers. The sooner that happens, the sooner folks can work toward getting the help they deserve.
