Two Injured in School Bus Accident on I-10 East at Mercury in Houston, TX

Houston, TX -- January 26, 2022, two people sustained injuries following an accident where a school bus and multiple other vehicles crashed on I-10.

Investigators responded to the area of the I-10 East Freeway and Mercury Drive at around 7:00 a.m. Right now, the cause of the crash remains unclear. A Cristo Rey Jesuit College Prep High School bus and multiple passenger vehicles somehow crashed along the inbound lanes of the freeway. At least two students were transported from the scene with minor injuries. No additional details are available at this time.
