William James Brand Killed in Car Accident on Risinger Road in Fort Worth, TX

UPDATE (January 25, 2022): Officials identified the man killed in the accident as 28-year-old William James Brand. Additional details are unavailable.

Fort Worth, TX -- January 22, 2022, one person sustained fatal injuries as the result of an accident where a crash occurred along Risinger Road.

Authorities reported that the crash took place at around 12:45 a.m. at Risinger Road and Crowley Road. Right now, the cause of the accident remains unclear. At least one car crashed, ultimately killing one person. The crash is still under investigation.

This early in the morning, people are probably going to assume the driver was on their phone, fatigued, or drunk. Those are certainly common factors worth considering, but are investigators looking into less likely factors, as well?
