Commentary on Single-Vehicle Accident on East Austin Street in Nacogdoches
While police mention alcohol here, they aren't all that clear on why they came to that conclusion. It's still important to consider, especially since alcohol providers are often involved in these situations, and they can be liable for the crash. If nothing else, a potential avenue to get people the help they need should always get attention. That said, I wouldn't want anyone jumping to conclusions without clear evidence. Police sometimes bring up factors that end up being nothing more than speculation based on their best guess of what happened. If the authorities aren't also looking into unusual circumstances, like mechanical issues, then perhaps professionals who will consider these possibilities need to look into the details.
