Commentary on Rollover Accident on FM 85 in Ellis County

It obviously raises some red flags when police bring up alcohol, even if it's unconfirmed. Both to ensure that issues are appropriately addressed and that people can get the help they need, it's important to look into that possibility. But was this the result of specific evidence, or are authorities grasping at straws here? I don't want to come off as negative toward officers themselves. More often than not when I encounter reports that overlooked something important, it's because the departments in charge didn't take the crash seriously.

Ellis County, TX Rollover Accident FM 85 Mach Road

Through lack of funding or through being pulled to other priorities, traffic accidents don't always get the attention they deserve. That can be a serious issue when challenging factors like road design, mechanical defects, tire issues, poor signage and lighting, and other unusual situations lead to a crash. So, did the authorities here have the right tools to look into all of these possibilities, or will getting the truth of what happened here, and therefore help for those involved, require more thorough independent investigations?
