Hasty L. Scott Injured in Car Accident in Jefferson County, MO

Jefferson County, MO -- October 14, 2020, a two-vehicle collision seriously injured 55-year-old Hasty L. Scott on Wednesday evening in Jefferson County, Missouri.

The crash happened around 7:42 p.m. on Route M at Metropolitan Boulevard, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. In a crash report by Trooper D. A. Crowell, it states Hasty traveled eastbound in a 2015 Ford Fusion. Meanwhile 50-year-old Shawn L. Barron traveled westbound in a 1991 Ford F-150. Barron allegedly failed to yield for Hasty, and attempted to turn left in front of the Fusion. The front end of the Fusion consequently struck the front end of the F-150.

Hasty suffered critical injuries. Rock Township EMS transported Hasty to Mercy Hospital South for treatment. Barron was not injured. Both vehicles sustained extensive damage in the crash.
