Lincoln, NE 2 Injured in Semi-Truck Accident on Interstate 80

Lincoln, NE -- September 25, 2020, a multiple vehicle crash hospitalized two people on Friday afternoon in Lincoln, Nebraska.

According to the Nebraska State Patrol, the collision happened on Interstate 80 near 27th street. Authorities say the three vehicles involved all traveled westbound. Apparently a Chevy Impala collided with a semi-truck, then struck a Chevy Trailblazer. The crash caused two passenger vehicles to become trapped between the center barrier and the semi-truck. There was also reports of a fire igniting at the scene.

Witnesses say everyone involved was able to escape safely. EMS transported two people to the hospital with minor injuries.
