Conelia Hillis Killed, Desiree Brown, Shane Whitfield Injured in Car Accident in Naples, TX

Naples, TX -- June 4, 2020, Conelia Hillis died, while Desiree Brown and Shane Whitfield were injured in a two-vehicle car accident.

The events under investigation occurred just before 8 am on W.L. Doc Dodson Boulevard, near the Spring Market Grocery Store.

Preliminary information released to media outlets by local police indicates that Mrs. Hillis' Kia Sorento was pulling out of the grocery store's parking lot when it allegedly failed to yield the right of way to Mr. Whitfield's westbound Dodge Ram pickup, resulting in a collision.

First responders pronounced Mrs. Hillis' death at the scene. Ms. Brown was transported to a Tyler hospital with life threatening injuries. Mr. Whitfield sustained non-life threatening injuries.
