UPDATE: Franklin Pearce III Killed in Truck Accident in Fort Worth, TX

UPDATE (June 8, 2020): Authorities identified the truck driver as 67-year-old Franklin Pearce III. At this time, additional details about the crash are unavailable.

Fort Worth, TX -- June 4, 2020, one person was killed after an accident where a dump truck crashed and overturned along Loop 820.

In their reports, Fort Worth Police officials responded to the crash scene at around 11:45 p.m. It happened near Loop 820 and Mark IV Parkway.

According to initial reports, a dump truck was traveling along Loop 820 when it somehow lost control. As a result, the truck crashed and overturned, ejecting the driver.

The driver of the truck, who has yet to be identified, died as a result of the crash. It's unclear if anyone else was involved in the crash.

At this time, the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
