Lorita A. Curtis Injured in Car Accident in Taney County, MO

Taney County, MO -- May 18, 2020, a two-vehicle collision on Monday afternoon injured 82-year-old Lorita A. Curtis in Taney County, Missouri.

The crash happened at about 1:25 p.m. on Missouri Route 76, just two miles east of Branson. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Curtis traveled eastbound in a 2002 Oldsmobile Bravada when she lost control of the vehicle for unknown reasons. The Bravado veered off the right side of the road, then struck a culvert and several trees. The car continued traveling into a parking lot where Curtis then struck a parked and unoccupied 1998 Honda CRV.

EMS transported Curtis to Cox Hospital in Branson in serious condition. Corporal S. D. Isringhausen is the investigating officer.
