One Killed in car Accident on Kansas Turnpike in Belle Plaine, KS

Belle Plaine, KS Spokespeople from the Sumner County Sheriff's Office and deputies from the Kansas State police have not yet confirmed the name of the person that was killed in a serious single-vehicle car accident near Belle Plaine, KS on February 7th, 2020.

At this point in the investigation, state and local law enforcement have only said that one person was killed when the passenger vehicle he was in drove off the side of the road and crashed into a tree for reasons that are still under investigation while traveling down the Kansas Turnpike. Multiple law enforcement agencies responded to the scene of the accident to aid in the investigation.
