One Killed in Car Accident on Sunrise Road in Smoaks, SC

Smoaks, SC Accidnet investigation teams from the South Carolina State Highway Patrol have not yet released the name of the man that was rushed to the hospital after a single-vehicle car accident that happened in Smoaks, SC on Monday, January 30th, 2020.

At this time, deputies from the Colleton County Sheriff's Department have only said that one person was killed when Ford pickup truck he was in drove off the side of the road and crashed into a number of trees in the 300 block Sunrise Road, and that EMS rushed the victim to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries a short time after his arrival. Police are still looking into the accident.
