1 Killed, 2 Injured in Car Accident on Highway 4 in Pittsburg, CA

Pittsburg, CA -- February 9, 2020 A multi-vehicle crash killed a man and injured two other men on Highway 4.

According to a preliminary investigation from the California Highway Patrol, a Volkswagon and a Toyota collided on the eastbound lanes of Highway 4. The wreck occurred directly in the path of a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. The rider flew off his bike and died at the scene. The driver of the Toyota suffered minor injuries.

Police charged the driver of the Volkswagon with a DUI and booked him into the Martinez detention facility. CHP is still investigating the accident.
