Daniel Blackmore Killed in Workplace Accident in Savannah, GA

Savannah, GA -- January 6, 2020, Daniel Blackmore died in a workplace accident.

The events under consideration took place late in the morning at a construction site at 100 SeaPoint Boulevard, near President Street.

According to the limited information released to media outlets regarding the incident, Mr. Blackmore was performing unspecified work when a piece of heavy equipment rolled over and landed on him.

First responders discovered Mr. Blackmore's body in rubble at the scene.

Blackmore was reportedly employed by D.E.A. Construction.

OSHA, the County Coroner's Office, and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation are all looking into the accident.
