One Killed in Tractor-Trailer Accident on I-80 in Cedar County, IA

Cedar County, IA Reports from the area and the Iowa State Patrol have not yet confirmed the name of the truck driver that was killed in a single-vehicle 18-wheeler accident that happened in Cedar County, Iowa on Saturday, January 11th, 2020.

Investigators familiar with the specifics of what happened in the accident have only stated that an as-of-yet unidentified truck driver was killed when the 18-wheeler he was in skidded off the side of the road and rolled into a ditch, and that EMS pronounced one occupant in the truck dead of their injuries a short time after they arrived at the scene of the accident. Several agencies are currently aiding in the accident investigation.
