One Killed in Box Truck Accident at Highway 1 and Moss Landing Rd in Monterey County, CA

Monterey County, CA Troopers from the California Highway Patrol have not yet confirmed the name of the person that was killed in an accident between a motorcycle and a box truck that happened in Monterey County, CA on Sunday, January 12th, 2020.

At this time, authorities familiar with what happened in the accident have only said that one person was killed when the motorcycle they were on collided with a box truck for reasons currently under investigation while driving at or near the intersection of Highway 1 and Moss Landing Road, and that EMS pronounced the victim dead from their injuries a short time after the accident, but it is not presently clear if they died at the scene or if they were rushed to a nearby hospital where they succumbed to their injuries a short time after their arrival.
