Pedestrian Jamie Hicks Killed in Cabot, AR Road Accident

Representatives from the Arkansas Highway Patrol have identified the individual who was struck and killed by a passing motorist in Cabot, AR on January 26th, 2013. Investigators currently suspect that Jamie Hicks was killed as she walked along or attempted to cross Kerr Station Road. The driver of the vehicle was an unidentified 16 year-old male.

Scene of the Accident

According to the report, Hicks was transported to a nearby hospital where she succumbed to the injuries inflicted on her in the accident. The report does not clarify Hicks’ positioning into the road in relation to the vehicle at the time of the accident. The unidentified driver did not report serious immediate injury in connection with the accident. The investigation into the fatal road accident is currently ongoing, and authorities hope to release more information relating to the incident as soon as possible.
