Johnny Martin Killed After Fatal Two-Car Accident in Alice, TX on Highway 349

According to the local news reports around Alice, TX, a man was killed on Tuesday evening after he was involved in a fatal tw0-car accident. Police said that Johnny Wayne Martin, 62, was identified as the victim who died in the accident on January 8, 2013.

Martin was reportedly driving along Highway 349 at about 6:30 p.m. and was making a U-turn at its dead-end intersection with Highway 44 when he was hit from behind by another vehicle. The wreck ejected Martin from his car and he died at the scene, though the other driver was not named and their condition was not listed. Authorities were expected to investigate the matter further.
