Michigan Highway Patrol have identified the woman who was struck and killed by a motorist on January 4th, 2013 in Farmington Hills, MI. Kimberly Williams was killed as she attempted to cross Grand River Ave. on Friday night. Williams was struck by a car when walking on the side of the road. The force of the collision vaulted her into oncoming traffic where she was struck by additional motorists.
Scene of the Accident
Authorities suspect that the dark colored clothing she was wearing may have lowered her level of visibility in the roadway. Authorities state that it is currently too early in the investigation to tell whether or not charges will be filed, but routine toxicology tests are being administered in order to rule out drug or alcohol impairment as a factor in the accident.
