Map of the Area
I wish I could say it’s shocking to see this sort of behavior, but unfortunately hit-and-runs are an all too common occurrence on our roads. To think that someone could do something so horrible just infuriates me to no end. I know some people read about these accidents and think that there’s no hope of finding the suspect driver–in fact, many such incidents ultimately go unsolved. However, it’s important never to give up hope of getting justice for those affected by this terrible event.
Sometimes by keeping these reports in the public eye, someone who is close to the suspect driver will connect the dots, do the right thing, and come forward with information leading to that person’s location. In fact, sometimes the constant pressure of seeing the reports leads to the suspect turning themselves in. Again, it might not happen, but that’s no reason to give up. there is a family suffering an unimaginable hardship right now, and every effort needs to be made in getting them the closure and the justice they deserve.
