Plymouth, MA — June 14, 2017, Jason Comoletti was killed as the result of an accident in which his vehicle somehow crashed off the roadway.
Authorities from the Plymouth Police Department were called out to investigate the accident, which they indicate happened at around 7:30 p.m. It took place just south of the intersection of Herring Pond Road and Long Pond Road.
Police investigators reported that 19-year-old Comoletti was traveling along Herring Pond in a car. He was the sole occupant. For reasons which have yet to be determined, the vehicle lost control and went off the side of the road. Before it could be stopped, the car crashed head-on into a utility pole.
Comoletti was critically injured in the crash. EMS transported him to Beth Israel Hospital for treatment, but he later died there. No one else was hurt in the crash.
The factors surrounding the accident are still unclear at this time.
