Pharmacist Faces Wrongful Death Lawsuit (WQOW Eau Claire)An Eau Claire pharmacist, who’s in prison for the drug overdose death of his wife, now faces a wrongful death lawsuit. Wrongful death claim settled for $240,000 (The Gazette)A wrongful-death lawsuit was settled in March for $240,000 in the death of Anthony Moore, 16, of South Amana.Moore was sitting in the trunk of a car driven by Nicole Eckman, 16, of Amana on May 13, 2005, when Eckman drove out of the driveway at the Brick Haus Restaurant in Amana, according to a police report. Colton Hall of Diana, TX. dies in car accident

Colton Hall, an 18-year-old high school student from Diana, TX. died on April 4, 2008 when the vehicle he was driving left the roadway and hit a tree. Police say that speed and slippery roads contributed to the accident.

Craig Coleman the superintendent of Harleton Idependent School District released the following statement:

"This morning Harleton ISD received confirmation that a terrible accident had taken the life of one of its own. The district wishes to express its sincere condolences to the family. Ours is a very close knit community, and we all feel this loss deeply. We realize that words cannot express the way that the parents of this young man must feel at this time, but we want them to know that our thoughts and prayers are with them."
