Bertis Wood Killed in 18-Wheeler Rollover Accident on Highway 69 in Hillister, TX

According to Hillister, TX news reports, truck driver Bertis Wood, 58, was killed on November 30, 2012 after a fatal accident along Highway 69. Wood was reportedly driving along the highway in the early morning hours of November 30 when he experienced an unknown accident that caused his gasoline tanker truck to leave the roadway and roll over at least once.

Wood was killed in the accident, though specific details were not given in the initial reports. Authorities said that Wood was from Jasper and that they are going to investigate the matter further and try to determine the cause of the rollover.
