A fatal head-on accident along Highway 16 near Jourdanton, TX left two men dead and three injured on November 1, 2012. A southbound pickup truck carrying four men was reportedly involved in an accident with a northbound car near FM 140 at about 6:40 a.m., leaving the 40-year old driver of the truck and a 57-year old rear passenger dead at the scene.

Police said that the other two passengers in the truck were injured and taken to a hospital, one of whom in critical condition. The driver of the northbound vehicle was also critically injured, but no names were given. The cause of the accident was expected to be investigated further.
