Josephine Henry dies of cardiac arrest, ambulance possibly delayed by 911 worker.
On Friday, March 5, Josephine Henry died of a cardiac arrest in Charlotte County, FL. Police are now investigating whether or not an ambulance delay contributed to her death. Initial reports indicate that Nancy Morris, the 911 worker who handled the call, dispatched a fire truck and police officer but failed to have an ambulance sent. The firefighters arrived two minutes after the call and began CPR, but they could not resuscitate Henry. The ambulance did not arrive until fourteen minutes after the 911 call. Morris has been transferred while the investigation continues.
