On Wednesday, March 10, a multi-vehicle accident on Interstate 10 near Cedar City, UT claimed the life of one woman. Police have identified the woman as Kristen Taylor. According to police report, Taylor had stopped behind an 18 wheeler that had previously crashed into five other cars. She was then rear-ended by another 18 wheeler. She died at the scene.
Losing a family member in an accident is a devastating experience. When this tragedy is caused by the negligence of another person, family members of the victim may wish to sue for wrongful death. Unfortunately, this is a very difficult task. In my experience, both individuals and organizations will do everything in their power to avoid accepting responsibility for an accident. But ultimately, the law is on your side, and with the help of an experienced wrongful death lawyer, those responsible for your loved one's death can be brought to justice.
