10-year-old Mauricio Salazar hit by SUV
On February, 2008 in San Antonio 10-year-old Mauricio Salazar was helping his father clean the family car when a black SUV ran over killing him instantly. The driver of the SUV told police that her brakes failed.
The woman was not charged at the time of the accident but a criminal investigation is being performed by the San Antonio Police Department. A mechanic will perform an inspection of the brakes to see if a failure was likely to occur.
