On Wednesday, March 10, Jerelene Clark was killed in a tragic accident in Coffee County, AL. According to police, Clark's vehicle was struck by another car driven by Sterling Garrett. Garrett and his passenger sustained minor injuries, as did Clark's daughter. Officials are still investigating the incident.
Drivers are responsible for ensuring that they do not bring harm to others with their actions. When they neglect that responsibility and a tragedy like this one occurs, the family members of the victims may wish to sue for wrongful death. I wish I could say that this is an easy process, but in my experience, people will go to great lengths to avoid accepting responsibility for an accident. But ultimately, the law is on your side, and with the help of an experienced wrongful death attorney, you can be sure that those responsible for your loved one's death are brought to justice.
