On Thursday, March 4, a drunk driving accident in Los Angeles, CA claimed the life of an innocent driver. According to police, Adriano Baek was driving drunk when he rear-ended a van. The van lost control and went down a steep embankment. The driver died at the scene. Baek was arrested.
Drivers are responsible for making sure that they do not endanger other people with their actions. When they neglect this responsibility by driving drunk, they may be held liable for the tragic accidents they cause. Unfortunately, filing a lawsuit in these situations is never easy. I have worked on wrongful death cases for twenty years, and I have seen people go to great lengths to avoid being held responsible for this kind of accident. But ultimately, the law is on your side, and with the help of an experienced wrongful death attorney, you can be sure that those responsible for your loved one's death are brought to justice.
