On Wednesday, March 10, a multi-car accident has occurred on Interstate 15, south of Cedar City, UT. Police report that as many as twenty vehicles were involved and at least one person is confirmed dead. Police are still investigating the accident.
Drivers have an obligation to ensure that they do not put other people in danger with their actions (or inactions). When this obligation is neglected, these drivers can be held liable for the damages they cause. Unfortunately, filing a lawsuit in these cases is never easy. I have worked on wrongful death cases for twenty years, and I have seen people go to extraordinary lengths to avoid accepting responsibility for an accident. But ultimately, the law is on your side, and with the help of an experienced wrongful death attorney, you can be sure that those responsible for your family member's death are held accountable for their negligence.
