Hugh Kelley Killed in Crowley, LA Helicopter Crash

Hugh Kelley, 66, was identified as the pilot who died in a plane crash on October 10, 2012 near rural Crowley, LA. Sources said that Kelley was flying a Bell 206  helicopter from Lafayette to Beaumont, TX when he experienced an accident and the four-seat aircraft struck the wires from a radio tower and crashed into a field.

Kelley was killed in the crash, sources said, and was the only occupant in the helicopter. The cause of the crash will be investigated further, police said.
