Robert Junyor and Brentina Dawn killed in accident near Shafter, CA.
On Saturday, March 6, Robert Junyor and his girlfriend Brentina Dawn were killed in a tragic accident near Shafter, CA. Police and witness reports indicate that Junyor and Dawn were riding as passengers in an SUV when the SUV was broadsided by Anthony Snelson at an intersection. The crash sent the SUV into a nearby canal. Witnesses to the incident tried to rescue Junyor and Dawn but the two victims died of their injuries. Police are still investigating the incident. Drivers have an obligation to ensure that they do not endanger others with their actions. With this obligation is ignored and innocent people are killed, family members may wish to file a wrongful death lawsuit. Unfortunately, this is almost always a very difficult task. I have worked on wrongful death suits for twenty years, and I have seen people go to extraordinary lengths to avoid being held responsible for an accident. But ultimately, the law is on your side, and with the help of an experienced wrongful death attorney, you can be sure that those responsible for your loved one's death are brought to justice.
