On Sunday, March 7, an Evington woman was killed in a tragic accident in Campbell County, VA. Police report that a car attempted to pass a minivan in a no passing zone. When the car crossed the double yellow line, it collided head on with the vehicle driven by the victim. Police are still investigating the accident.
Drivers have a responsibility to ensure that their actions do not bring harm to others. When they neglect this responsibility, victims or their families may wish to seek justice through a lawsuit. Unfortunately, this is a very difficult task. I have worked on wrongful death suits for twenty years, and I have seen what people are willing to do in order to get out of taking responsibility for an accident. But the simple truth is this: the law is on your side. With the help of an experienced wrongful death attorney, you can be sure that those responsible for your loved one's death are brought to justice.
