On Saturday, March 6, a Rhode Island truck driver was killed in a crash in Connecticut. Police report that a car crashed into the truck, causing it to jackknife. The truck driver died at the scene. The driver of the car fled the scene on foot. Police are still investigating.
Losing a family member is a terrible emotional experience. When such a loss is caused by another person's negligence, family members may wish to file a wrongful death lawsuit. Unfortunately, this is never easy. In my experience, people will do almost anything to avoid being held responsible for this kind of accident. But the truth is this: the law is in place to protect victims and their families, and with an experienced wrongful death attorney on your side, you can bring those responsible for your loved one's death to justice.
