Jamie Solivan killed in car chase accident.
On February 13, Jamie Solivan was killed in a car accident in Chicago. Police report that Solivan was being chased by two other vehicles, driven by Jose Sanchez and Elvin Cotto. Cotto and Sanchez forced Solivan off the road and caused him to crash. They then fled the scene but were later apprehended. Solivan was taken to a nearby hospital but died of his injuries. Losing a family member is a devastating experience. When such a loss is caused by another person's negligence, family members may wish to file a wrongful death lawsuit. I wish I could say that this is an easy task. But in my experience, people will do everything in their power to avoid accepting responsibility for an accident. But the truth is this: the law is on your side. With the help of an experienced wrongful death attorney, you can be sure that those responsible for your loved one's death are brought to justice.
