Detroit city bus kills woman in tragic accident.
On Tuesday, March 2, a woman in Detroit was hit and killed by a bus. The bus was being tested by a city worker for safety at the time of the accident. Police are still investigating the incident. The names of the victim and the bus driver have not been released. People in general have an obligation to ensure that they do not endanger others with their actions (or inaction). Losing a family member is a terrible experience, and when that loss is caused by another person acting negligently, family members may wish to sue for wrongful death. I wish I could say that this is a simple task, but in my experience, both individuals and organizations will do almost anything to avoid being held responsible for a fatal accident. But the simple truth is this: the law is on your side. With the help of an experienced wrongful death settlement attorney, you can make sure that those responsible for your loved one's death are brought to justice.
