Raymond Bates Struck and Killed by Alleged Drunk Driver in Amarillo, TX

Local Amarillo TX news reports said that a fatal accident on March 19 2012 left one man dead. 56-year old Raymond Lewis Bates was reportedly a passenger in 18-year old Dillon Charles Lavallees vehicle when it was struck by 22-year old Freddie Guajardos vehicle. Police said that Guajardo was driving north on Arthur Street when he crashed into Lavallees eastbound car on 10th Street.

Police said that Bates was killed in the accident and Lavallee was injured and taken to a hospital. After being arrested authorities said that Guajardo was charge with intoxication manslaughter. The accident happened at about 2:21 in the morning.
