One man is dead after a Southeast Texas collision with an 18-wheeler. 67-year-old Byrd Love was killed on Saturday, January 2nd, when an 18-wheeler failed to yield when entering the highway. Byrd Love was driving on State Highway 21, when the big rig entered the highway from a stop sign. Love had no time to react and collided with the tractor trailer. Love's pick-up truck went under the trailer, peeling the top of the truck off and scattering debris. The trucker was cited by police for failure to yield right of way.
