Oil worker Gabriel Tellez killed in Oklahoma oil rig collapse
One worker was killed in a Northwestern Oklahoma oil rig collapse on Saturday, December 26th, 2009. Gabriel Ovalle Tellez, 31, was working on an oil rig owned by Wichita-based Tomcat Drilling when, just before 6:00 a.m., the collapse took his life and injured another man, David Gonzalez of Hugoton, Kansas. OSHA is investigating. If you are injured while working on an oil rig, you should not have to suffer the financial burden. Let a workplace injury lawyer find those responsible for your accident, and hold them accountable. If you have lost a loved one due to a work-related accident, you may not know where to turn for help. The insurance company and the employer are likely not cooperating with you. A wrongful death attorney will fight the employer and insurance company for you. Without an attorney though, your chance of success is virtually non-existent.
