Unfortunately, drunk driver accidents are something that we see a lot of in Texas. In drunk driver accidents, it is obvious that the drunk driver is negligent, but they may not be the only one at fault. Did the bartender serve this man beyond his limit? Did the cashier verify this person's ID when the alcohol was sold? Did the waiter let him drive instead of calling for a cab? These cases fall under the dram shop liability statute in Texas. A wrongful death attorney can determine who is at fault in your accident, and file a claim to recoup damages from those persons. If you have lost someone you love to an accident with a drunk driver, talk to a motor vehicle accident lawyer today.
