3 dead, 3 injured in high-speed one-car Denton TX car accident
Three Denton, TX teenagers lost their life the other night in a one-car accident on Loop 288. Adrian Alvarez and Jose Ramos, both 16-years-old, and another boy did not survive the wreck. Two teen girls and one boy survived the crash and are expected to survive, but remain hospitalized. A DPS trooper clocked the 1990s Ford Escort going 78 mph, but the vehicle had crashed before the trooper was able to turn around. It was unknown if alcohol was a factor in the accident.
It is unclear as to who was driving the vehicle at this point, but the driver of a vehicle is always responsible for the ensuring the safety of their passengers. If alcohol is later determined to be a factor in the accident, the individual who provided alcohol may be found partially liable as well. A Texas wrongful death lawyer can determine who all is at fault in a wrongful death case, and seek appropriate financial compensation for the victim's family.
